Just a quick update on a few things. Check out the Creative Waves blog about the Blackberry attack, a true story about what happened to me recently. Yes there was blood drawn. Nasty nasty stuff. But I survived the brutal barbarian blackberry attack. Did you know that blackberries can be dangerous to your health? I know for a fact that they can be. Oui, c’est vrai, my little petite poutine. That is meatless poutine as it should be.

Filed under: Internet , Social Software , web 2.0 Facebook announced the next round of changes and additions to their “Statement of Rights and Responsibilities,” — the terms of service document that governs — the popular social networking website. The document has received some criticism in the past (ahem). One of the more interesting changes? Users are now prohibited from using their Facebook profile for direct profit . That means selling your status updates to someone willing to pay for the exposure is now a big no-no.

You were along for the ride whether you wanted to be or not. Oh, this isn’t the Woodstock Nation’s form of radical social change, or, even the Brown vs The Board of Education emotionally charged social change. In this current period symbols of change were not as visible.

When the kids go back to school, I tend to stock my freezer full of ready made products. You know, the ones that take minutes to cook or heat up? I do this because A) The kids are usually starving right after school and supper isn’t ready until 6 and B) back to school usually means I’m the one helping with most of the chores here on the ranch instead of the kiddos, well, because they’re at school! That means my time will get eaten up by chores, the little cowpoke (since the kids won’t be around to help watch), and trips to and from school helping out.

Recently I’ve noticed alot of questions from musicians wanting to know how and why they should use Google Reader and I wanted to give a couple of reasons I find it so helpful. Google Reader is a great tool for organizing your music marketing campaigns. I began using it because it was recommended to help surf my favorite sites and keep updated to when they write new posts. If you have a Gmail account you can use that as your login to Google Reader. The set up is quick. Visit Google Reader.
